VBIDA Dyslexia Awareness Campaign – Hat Sale

Join VBIDA in raising awareness about the strengths celebrated and challenges faced by individuals with dyslexia.

Navy and slate gray hats available.

The mission of IDA and VBIDA is to support activities raising awareness that individuals with dyslexia as well as individuals at risk for reading difficulties can learn to read using a structured literacy (explicit and systematic reading instruction) approach with the message,

until everyone can read.

Through VBIDA, a hat may be purchased to support this message and our scholarship program. All proceeds from the hat sales will support scholarships for Virginia teachers and students. To date, VBIDA has provided over $20,000 in scholarships to Virginia teachers and students.

To further raise awareness about dyslexia, we ask that once you purchase a hat please take a picture and post it on VBIDA’s Facebook or Instagram page.
